If you’ve fallen down the “garden party wedding” rabbit hole on TikTok lately… same. There’s something timeless, romantic, and downright magical about saying your vows surrounded by lush greenery, winding paths, and a sea of blooms. And while Atlanta is best known for its buzzing city vibes, it’s also home to some seriously enchanting garden wedding venues.
Whether you’re dreaming of a laid-back elopement or a full-blown weekend celebration, these garden party wedding venues in Atlanta bring the floral fantasy to life. Here are a few of my absolute favorites—places I’ve photographed weddings at and can personally vouch for.

UGA Founders Garden
Located in nearby Athens, the UGA Founders Garden is like stepping into a Southern fairytale. It’s this dreamy mix of classic brick architecture and sprawling green garden paths, tucked right on the University of Georgia campus. Every time I shoot here, I fall a little more in love with the way it balances structure with softness.
Why it’s perfect for a garden party wedding: Blooming hedges, cozy corners, and a peaceful vibe that makes portraits feel effortless and intimate.

Wildflower 301
This one’s a little off the beaten path, and I’m obsessed. Wildflower 301 combines rustic charm with thoughtfully curated garden vibes. You’ve got fields, wildflowers, arches, and a stunning house that doubles as an indoor plan-B (or a cozy hangout after sunset).
Why it’s perfect for a garden party wedding: It’s full of personality and perfect for couples who want that “undone elegance” feel.

Wahoo! Grill
Don’t let the name fool you—Wahoo! Grill in Decatur is one of the most unexpectedly romantic garden party wedding venues in Atlanta. Their outdoor patio space is dripping with greenery, twinkle lights, and charm. It feels like a tucked-away European garden right in the middle of the city.
Why it’s perfect for a garden party wedding: Intimate, lush, and low-key—perfect for small weddings or elopements with big heart.

Swan Coach House
Swan Coach House is one of those iconic Atlanta venues that somehow flies under the radar—and I think that makes it even more magical. Located in Buckhead near the Atlanta History Center, it has these gorgeous gardens, a charming pink facade, and a refined elegance that never feels overdone.
Why it’s perfect for a garden party wedding: It’s the ultimate Southern garden party vibe—classic, floral-filled, and photogenic in every direction.

Oakland Cemetery
Hear me out: Oakland Cemetery is lowkey one of the most beautiful places in the city for a garden-forward, nontraditional wedding. Yes, it’s a cemetery—but it’s also a Victorian garden cemetery, and the landscaping is next-level. Think ivy-draped statues, blooming crape myrtles, ornate wrought iron, and the golden-hour light of dreams.
Why it’s perfect for a garden party wedding: It’s unlike any other venue. Romantic, a little wild, and deeply meaningful—especially for couples who want to do things their own way.

Cator Woolford Gardens
Cator Woolford Gardens is a longtime favorite for intimate weddings that feel both secluded and polished. Between the historic stone columns, open lawn, and tucked-away feel, it brings major “secret garden” energy in the best way.
Why it’s perfect for a garden party wedding: Classic meets cozy. It’s perfect for couples who want a little structure without losing the dreamy garden vibe.

Even More Garden Party Wedding Venues in Atlanta
The Inn at Serenbe
About 40 minutes from the city, Serenbe is chef’s kiss for couples who want a garden-meets-farm vibe. Think flower fields, winding dirt roads, elegant courtyards, and animals wandering nearby. It’s upscale but grounded—like a cottagecore dream with good food and lots of fresh air.
Why it works: Great for weekend weddings, elopements, and folks who want a quiet, luxurious escape with major outdoor charm.
The Trolley Barn
While not a “garden” venue in the traditional sense, it has one of the most lush, shaded courtyards in the middle of the city. The outdoor ceremony space feels totally surrounded by greenery, and the string lights + exposed brick vibe of the indoor space makes for a great rain plan.
Why it works: It’s ideal for couples who want an urban garden party vibe with great walkability and a side of local history.
Callanwolde Fine Arts Center
Historic mansion? Check. Sweeping gardens? Check. A literal pergola for vows? Check. Callanwolde has this romantic European estate feel, with manicured lawns and ivy-covered everything. It’s got that vintage charm that works so well with garden party styling.
Why it works: Elegant but not stuffy—especially stunning in spring and early fall.
Meadowlark 1939
Further out, but worth it. The property is full of gardens, open meadows, greenhouses, and stunning architectural details. The getting-ready space is one of the prettiest I’ve seen.
Why it works: It’s a full-on garden estate experience with total privacy and golden light everywhere.
