Atlanta Beltline Elopement // Nicole & Alex
Nicole & Alex had different plans for their wedding, at first. They ended up holding a backyard ceremony during COVID lockdowns, then having a big party to celebrate with some friends once it felt safe to do so, and this was the final piece: an Atlanta Beltline elopement built out of some of their favorite things.
We started off in an {adorable} AirBnb they rented in Atlanta, where they got ready together. They had artwork from friends and their Lego flowers – custom built by Alex!! – to share in the moment before heading to Monday Night Brewing for a drink & some photos. Monday Night Brewing was where they had originally planned on holding their wedding, so being able to come back to it in this form was so special. We were even able to visit the brewery’s moss wall, which was one of their favorite things about the venue!
Then we hit Westside Provisions for an ice cream break at Jeni’s {where they had their first date!}. We also walked across Nicole’s favorite bridge before walking down a lesser-used portion of the Atlanta Beltline for some ceremony vows. This was one of my favorite aspects, we actually did Mad Lib wedding vows so we had some REALLY FUNNY stuff and some really sweet stuff combined: exactly their vibe.
Nicole & Alex, thank you for reminding me what an elopement {or really any celebration} is all about.
