I have no idea how Fauna and Fig and I found each other in the first place. Suddenly these talented and magical humans had just appeared and I was filled with a need to know more. Who were the people behind these fantastic arrangements and hilarious/relatable social posts? Needless to say, I’ve been a fan of Fauna and Fig for awhile. As luck would have it, I’m a photographer who loves a branding session, and they were florists in need of one. The stars had aligned! Working with Fauna and Fig to capture their brand was such a joy. Tabatha & Kate made it so easy and it their Atlanta branding session was a true collaboration.

Fauna and Fig‘s branding shoot was hella fun to organize and work on together. I always feel like my shoots are an artistic collaboration but man did this one DOUBLY feel that way! The location was Red Beers Garden, a new spot to me that I was truly delighted by. Tab & Kate had arranged to set up shop in the back of their shop, and the clean minimalistic decor + plant life was such a dream to work in. {And so fitting!}

The two florists, in their custom mechanics coveralls {which I freaking LOVE} with embroidery by Better Off Thread, put together these vibrant and wild arrangements that we then took outside for some extra fun. Watching these two work was such a treat. Tab & Kate clearly work so incredibly well together: bouncing ideas off each other, helping the other edit if needed, and keeping everything light and really fun. {This is the kind of vibes they bring to your wedding, people!}

Once outside, we went HAM on this abandoned car wash. We played in some truly gross standing water, found awesome reflections, Van Gogh made out of rust, and generally had a blast. I really loved creating weirdness with these two and cannot WAIT to do it again! Thank you for trusting me, Tab & Kate. I loved getting an inside look at your incredible wildflower florist business and learning more about you, too.
