Queer Content Day in North Carolina // Gothic Glam Inspired Wedding

I recently took part in a Queer Content Day put together by the incredible Curated by Crooked Window. The Queer Content day consisted of three different wedding looks and three different couples, each with a distinct dream of a theme. The second theme of the styled shoot I did up in North Carolina was Gothic Glam. Personally, I’m always down for any bit of spooky season no matter what time of year! So I knew this would be a great time. Liz & Tabbs did not disappoint as our models – and the setup Curated by Crooked Window {and the other amazing vendors} put together was incredible.

During the Gothic Glam styled shoot, there were two different stations set up for this that you could pull inspiration from. Outdoors, we had a table set up for tarot readings and a professional tarot reader performing readings. What a freaking cool idea. If it’s your vibe, having a tarot reader at your cocktail hour or reception can be such a fun and interactive activity for your guests.

The second set up for this theme was indoors where we had neon signs – always a fan! – wine goblets, and black lace. Elegant and wicked! Liz & Tabbs looked amazing in their black wedding gowns. I loved the corset and lace details. The gowns also had the most perfect embellishments to bring a gorgeous pop of sparkle and color. Liz & Tabbs are a wonderful real life couple, so their interactions and chemistry were killer! The whole setup was incredible and inspiring – a great reminder that your wedding day is all about what YOU want.
