Green Wedding Guild Styled Shoot with Miami Vibes
This shoot, in conjunction with the Green Wedding Guild, was such a dream. Styled shoots are always so fun: a really great creative outlet for wedding vendors to get together and build something from the ground up around central theming. For the Green Wedding Guild, which I’ve recently had the complete pleasure of joining, sustainability is key.
Green Wedding Guild Styled Shoot
The planning mastermind behind this shoot was Emily of Emily Katherine Events, a gem of a human and an extremely talented planner! I came to her with the idea of a Miami vibe, something colorful and bright and she ran with it, creating this gorgeous shoot.
We shot at the Bill Scott Pavilion, which not only has a super cute covered pavilion, but also some amazing greenspaces all around and an adorable pond. The model couple – who are really getting married this year! – were so much fun to photograph, full of affection and fully in on all of my worst jokes.
Sustainability in your wedding planning doesn’t have to be completely mystifying. The vendors and resources at the Green Wedding Guild are all about making eco-weddings, the reducing of wedding waste, and sustainability at weddings completely achievable and attainable for everyone. Be sure to check out some of their planning resources!
