Millennium Park Engagement Session // Kyla & Tim
Planning Kyla & Tim’s engagement session was so incredibly fun to plan out. I wanted to try and incorporate all of their favorite things – Atlanta, museums, and the skyline – in a short amount of time. So, we landed on Millennium Park by the Millennium Gate Museum and Jackson St bridge for their session. It’s one of the most iconic skyline shots in the entire city.
We started off at Millenium Park – creeping around an elopement happening right under the arch! – and followed the light, which was buttery and golden and perfect. These two are so at ease with each other, open with showing each other how much they care, unafraid to be silly together, and incredibly laidback and open to whatever wild ideas I had! We played on the bridge, running back and forth, enjoying the skyline, and then headed to the Gate itself for some awesome architecture and sun setting.
To catch the tail end of the sunset and the beginnings of blue hour, we sped over to the Jackson St bridge for that all-too-famous skyline. I was so excited to share this spot with them, knowing the skyline shot was an important one for them. We finished up lastly with a wall I had been eyeballing on the way in because you know I’m always looking out for color!
I can’t wait for their wedding at Wahoo! Grill in the spring!
