Taylor & Emmanuel // Ponce City Market Engagement Portraits

For Taylor & Emmanuel’s session, we chose Ponce City Market because it’s where they met! Kind of a perfect reason to choose this place, honestly. Taylor walked by Emmanuel while he was waiting in line at the King of Pops booth. She didn’t even notice Emmanuel because she was looking for her friend, but he definitely kept an eye on her. After he was done in line, he approached Taylor at the table and they got to chatting. It’s such a sweet story and I love that they wanted to capture their relationship at the very place it all began for these portraits. 

Ponce City Market Engagement 

Despite it being a very busy time for the market, we managed to find little corners and moments of privacy! That’s always something I strive for. Taylor, Emmanuel, and I enjoyed walking around Ponce City Market and finding all of these little spots while also hitting up their favorite restaurants and places to spend time together. I love doing sessions here because there’s always something new to see – a new mural, a new place to visit, or something to enjoy. During our session, it was clear that Emmanuel is a ham and Taylor is more reserved, but they balance each other out.
