I absolutely adore Marianna & Jonathan! I had the privilege of capturing their engagement session and wedding day several years ago, plus a family session in their backyard when their son was still a baby! Every time I see Marianna & Jonathan, I get so excited. There’s something so beautiful about getting to connect with people I adore and catch up with what’s going on in their lives.
For Marianna & Jonathan, that looks like welcoming another family member to the world. They have their son, Andrew, who is three and now, they also have their daughter, Norah, who is one. When Marianna & Jonathan reached out about booking this family session, I couldn’t wait to sit down and hear about everything that’s been happening! We planned an at-home family session at their gorgeous house in Atlanta.
Our session started inside their house, where Marianna & Jonathan spend time reading together as a family – and cuddling up! It was the perfect way for Andrew & Norah to ease into me being in their home and space. Before long, they were ready to show me their bubbles {something the kids are super into right now!}. We all headed out to the backyard and I captured them playing together on the porch! Andrew also wanted to show off his basketball skills and I was thrilled to really document what a nice Saturday looks like for this family.
We ended their session down in their neighborhood park, which is actually something we did during their other family session! It’s really neat seeing these familiar places – especially when they mean so much to a couple or family and are a big part of their everyday lives. I love doing sessions like this!
Marianna & Jonathan, thank you for letting me capture your beautiful family again. I’m so happy I had the chance to see you – and meet Norah. It’s amazing to watch your family grow with each session together!
