I absolutely loved Melissa & Sam’s Brook Run Park engagement session! Next January, Melissa & Sam are getting married at Montaluce Vineyards – which will have all the gorgeous wintery vibes. With that in mind, Melissa & Sam knew that they wanted their engagement photos to feel very springy. So, we planned a lifestyle session that focused on what they love doing together – including visiting Brook Run Park in Dunwoody GA.
We started Melissa & Sam’s engagement session in the park, focusing on what they love about the space. Generally, I focused on documenting “slice of life” moments – what things are like for Melissa & Sam when I’m not there. It’s honestly my favorite way to photograph my couples. It’s not about me posing you – it’s about you being who you are and I just have the joy of capturing it all for you! At the end of our park time, Melissa & Sam had a champagne toast from Montaluce to enjoy, which was super fun.
Once we got back to Melissa & Sam’s house, they took a moment to just relax. Together, they made cocktails {one of their favorite things to do}! I even had the chance to meet their cat, Artemis – who was super cooperative and a great model for me. Before I headed out to let them enjoy their evening, a few bright pink blooms had opened outside, so I asked Melissa & Sam to pop out with me. We wrapped up our session with the beautiful spring flowers around their apartment!
Melissa & Sam, thank you for allowing me to tag along on your perfect day. I loved getting to know you two {and Artemis}. I can’t wait for your wedding in January!!
