For Erika & Cooper, their engagement session was all about capturing the small moments that make their life together feel so special. Their session was built around their favorite things: chilling on the couch with their drinks and their dogs, walks in Piedmont Park, and a chat on the swingset. This dreamy engagement session in Atlanta really showcased what makes Erika & Cooper – and their love story – unique.

Casual Engagement Session in Atlanta at Home
We started at their house, where they welcomed me with their two dogs. They made each other a cup of coffee, and we began to capture some of those everyday moments that reflect who they are as a couple. Erika & Cooper snuggled up on the couch with their pups, laughed together, and just enjoyed being in their home. There’s something incredibly intimate about photographing people in their own space, surrounded by the things that matter most to them.

After spending some time indoors, we headed outside to their backyard, where we took some photos in their lush garden. The greenery was absolutely thriving {we love to see it} and it wound up being the perfect spot for a few more photos together, laughing and enjoying the day.

Playful Engagement Photos in Piedmont Park
Next, we changed the pace and headed to Piedmont Park, one of their favorite spots in Atlanta. We strolled around the park, stopping at some of their favorite places. The skyline in the distance created a stunning backdrop as we wrapped up their session.

Whether you’re sharing a drink at your favorite brewery, taking a walk with your dog, or just enjoying time at home, the simplest moments can make for the most meaningful portraits. It’s one of the reasons I love lifestyle engagement sessions so much! Erika & Cooper, thanks for making me laugh and trusting me to capture the little moments that make life together so sweet!
