Cooking In-Home Engagement Session in Charlotte // Sabina & Randolph
Sabina & Randolph
Sabina & Randolph are made of magic. For their cooking in-home engagement session in Charlotte NC we split the evening into two. First, we spent time at their home where they made a {stunning} meal together. Afterwards, we visited a nearby intersection with a lovely skyline and even lovelier lighting.
Cooking In-Home Engagement Session in Charlotte NC
I drove up to Charlotte to hang out with them in their apartment, chatted and watched them make dinner in their pajamas before heading out to catch the last bit of sunlight before dark. We returned to their place and enjoyed one of the absolute best meals I’ve ever had, no joke. Hosting and feeding people is hugely important to these two, and since Randolph’s a professional chef, I sure as hell wasn’t going to turn that offer down.
Their wedding will have a similar vibe, where it’s important to them to feed and host the important people in their lives, to show some love to those who have been there for them for so long. It’s such a lovely sentiment and how I knew they were my people immediately. I can’t WAIT for their wedding!
The spot we explored for the second part of their engagement session was one that Randolph often sees on his drive to work or just about town. Not only does it have a cute peek of the Charlotte skyline, but the sun hit it so beautifully! {Thank you two for playing in traffic with me, haha!}

The best days are full of “did that really happen?” moments and quiet ones alike: yelling vows over a waterfall, grandma losing her mind over your shoes, strangers cheering you on in the street. A dad-turned-unofficial paparazzi, a sibling choking up mid-speech, that deep breath the moment you realize you’re married.
The goal? A full story that’s wild, real, beautiful — so anyone looking at your photos feels like they were there.
