Fiona & Tiger’s engagement session is cozy and features their favorite things about doing life together. It was a great time, and like any lifestyle engagement session I do, it’s always so fun to get a sneak peek into what my couples’ lives are like when I’m not around.
Fiona & Tiger met on the dating app Coffee Meets Bagel, so the first order of business for their session was coffee and bagels! {I love that they started off with an inside joke.} I’m always down for a good breakfast moment, so it was fun to kick things off this way. While it’s not their typical breakfast, it was a sweet nod to their story. After breakfast, they showed me their fish house shoes. I thought it was so cute and so uniquely them! That’s what lifestyle engagement photos are all about! We also captured a slice of life at home – including playing their video games, their incredible giant manga cabinet and some board games. All of these moments are important to Fiona & Tiger, which made every moment that much more meaningful.
After some time at home, we headed out to Level Up Games in Duluth. I personally love Duluth and so do Fiona & Tiger. They spend a lot of time here, enjoying the amazing restaurants and shops, like Level Up Games. I photographed Fiona & Tiger just enjoying the space – checking out games, dice, and exploring. Level Up Games also has an incredible wall mural in there featuring some fantasy characters. It was a perfect spot for some portraits and truly a gamer’s paradise! We ended Fiona & Tiger’s session at Matcha Cafe Maiko, another spot they love.
Fiona & Tiger’s engagement session was truly about creating their dream day together and enjoying the hell out of it {while I tagged along and photographed them}. Honestly, it’s what I want every engagement session to feel like for my couples!
