Lifestyle Portraits in Atlanta // Angie, Brendan, Wally, & Henry
I’ve worked with Angie & Brendan quite a few times at this point. I absolutely love working with them – and now with their sons, Wally and Henry. I first photographed Angie & Brendan for their engagement session, then their wedding, then their maternity/parental session just before Wally was born, at one of my Lavender mini session days and most recently in Woodland Gardens. This year, we planned a relaxed lifestyle portrait session in their Atlanta home. It was perfect – and I was so happy to get to meet their newest addition, Henry!
Fall Lifestyle Family Photos
When I arrived at Angie & Brendan’s home, I was welcomed by the four of them. Wally was playing with his toys and was all excited to show me his favorite things. He showed me his piano and drum set. As with all of my lifestyle sessions, my goal is to capture what life is like every day for you as if I’m not even there. So, for Angie, Brendan, Wally, & Henry, that meant storytime and lots of cuddles on the bed. Brendan & Wally actually play a really fun game together in their hallway that I got to photograph, too. It was just amazing to watch them and document such a special little game for the family. Wally was such a ham for us honestly!
After playing inside, we headed outside their home. It was a true dreary November day, which I actually loved. It means we get some really gorgeous light and I don’t have to fight with the shadows. Because of the time of year, we also got beautiful fall colors outside Angie & Brendan’s house. We even got to include the fifth member of the family – this fun blanket! It’s been in so many of our sessions that we joke it’s another family member. Makes me laugh every time.
There is really nothing like watching a family grow and change over time. I feel honored every time Angie & Brendan reach out {even all of these sessions later}. Thank you for trusting me to capture your family again – documenting your memories and letting me follow your three year old’s lead in the process.
