What Working with an Atlanta Documentary Wedding Photographer Looks Like
Photos that feel
like being there
What to Expect
What “documentary wedding photography” actually means
Most photographers arrive with a shot list and spend the day working through it — directing groups, arranging details, stopping moments to recreate them. The results can be beautiful, but they’re a constructed version of your day.
I work from the opposite direction. I’m watching what’s already happening — the way your person looks at you right before the ceremony starts, your grandmother laughing at something your dad said at dinner, the dance floor at 10pm when everyone’s stopped caring how they look.
Those are the photographs that end up mattering most, and they’re not ones you can manufacture.

This isn't about getting the shot. It's about building you a time machine.
