Renn Faire Flair Inspired Wedding with Green Wedding Guild
I look forward to the annual Green Wedding Guild styled shoot every year. Their mission is to inspire couples about making sustainable choices for weddings. Not only that, but Green Wedding Guild reminds couples that sustainability doesn’t have to be limiting or only done one way. The theme of this one was Renn Faire Flair, so you know it was close to my heart. Everything about this day was absolutely gorgeous – especially Baldwin Farms. I’m thrilled to be sharing you this dreamy Renn Faire inspired wedding day – the entire day made me think, “Is this what it would be like if two princesses got married?”
Baldwin Farms is absolutely beautiful. It really lent itself to the idea behind the day – filled with a variety of locations. From forest to beautiful flowers and the outdoor spaces. In fact, we even had some purple flower bushes just covered in butterflies which added to the magic of the day. It was so special! My one regret of the whole day was that I couldn’t explore every inch of Baldwin Farms. I can’t wait to come back and enjoy this incredible spot again sometime soon.
One of my other favorite parts of the day was our incredible harpist, Sarah. The entire day, Sarah performed and created such a beautiful ambiance for our brides, Eva & Emma. Eva & Emma are a real life couple, so it was extra special for them to enjoy this Renn Faire inspired celebration.
First Look at Baldwin Farms
The day began with Eva & Emma meeting for a first look together. I loved the quite moment that these beautiful women had together. With the romantic sounds of the harp, they were able to just soak in the day together. The spot in the gardens that we picked for Eva & Emma’s first look was also a great spot to highlight their gorgeous gowns! The details on the gowns were stunning – from romantic sleeves to little details along the bodices. Both were perfect for this garden wedding day!
Wedding Day in North Carolina
After Eva & Emma’s first look, we moved to their exchange for rings. I love that Baldwin Farms really lends itself to these smaller, intimate moments so well. I could absolutely see a quiet elopement happening here! When we were done with the ceremony setup, we moved to the reception.
Sustainable Wedding Reception
I absolutely loved the look that Green Wedding Guild’s planner, Carolina Event Masters pulled together. Everything felt so elegant and romantic. There were lots of textures on the reception tables – from forts to deep crimson colors and feathery details that all worked well together. Honestly, the glassware was one of my favorite parts – smoky and classic, it really brought more depth to the reception setup!
This entire Renn Faire inspired garden wedding day was a dream. I loved every detail and decision made to bring this styled shoot to life and I hope it inspires many couples out there to focus on what they want for their wedding day, while making sustainable and green choices. Sustainability doesn’t have to be boring! Thank you to Green Wedding Guild for asking me to capture this truly romantic setup!
