Not every love story needs a 200-person guest list. Elopements can be just the two of you or a small gathering of your favorite humans.

Maybe it’s vows whispered at the courthouse, with celebratory tacos afterward.

Maybe it’s saying "I do" in your backyard with your cat weaving between your ankles and your favorite playlist spinning in the background.
Maybe it’s a mountaintop moment, wind in your hair, champagne straight from the bottle on the hood of your car.
Eloping doesn’t mean "less." It means more—more adventure, more intimacy, more "this is so us" moments.

Custom Proposals for Your One-of-a-Kind Event
Because your story doesn’t fit in a template and your elopement photography package shouldn’t either. We start with the base and build from there, depending on your plans & priorities. Everyone receives a custom quote.
Elopement coverage starts at $3,500
Includes 4 hours of coverage, myself as your photographer, a private online gallery with all your edited, high-res digital images, travel 2hrs from Atlanta, and a custom approach and plan. I'm also an ordained minister, which means one less vendor to wrangle, if you'd like me to officiate your ceremony.
Associate packages also available.

FAQ
Do you photograph LGBTQ+ weddings and elopements?
Yes. Photographing LGBTQ+ weddings has been a core part of my work for 17+ years. I ask for pronouns, I don’t assume roles or dynamics, and I don’t use gendered language unless you do first. The weddings and elopements on my site show the range of couples I photograph, so you don’t have to guess whether you belong here.
Which North Georgia towns do you cover without a travel fee?
Travel within 4 hours of 30548 is included in every wedding package, so that covers the north metro and North Georgia, including Buford, Braselton, Gainesville, Athens, Dahlonega and Duluth. For weddings just past that range, I add a small travel amount.
What is documentary wedding photography, and will we get any posed photos?
Documentary wedding photography means I observe and capture your day as it happens, not arrange it. There’s no shot list, no posing templates, and no being pulled away for staged “candids.” If you want something specific, like family portraits, tell me and we’ll plan it into your timeline so it’s quick and doesn’t take over your day.
Do you photograph weddings in Atlanta if you are based north of the city?
Yes. I’ve been photographing Atlanta weddings since 2008, from the Swan House and Monteluce to backyard ceremonies in Decatur and loft weddings in the Old Fourth Ward. Every wedding package includes travel within 4 hours of 30548, so an Atlanta wedding has no added travel fee.
What if we’re not “photo people”?
Then you’ve come to the right place! My niche is people who don’t love having their photo taken, which is one of the reasons I adore a documentary style so much. It really helps people relax and feel natural in front of the camera, which is not normally a place we tend to feel comfortable.
Do you edit the photos?
Everything in your final gallery is edited and print-ready!
Do you book more than one wedding per weekend?
I don’t! There might be rare exception for smaller events, but it’s a huge goal and boundary of mine that I’m able to give my all to each couple, which means only booking one wedding per weekend.
Do you work with second shooters?
Sometimes, but it always depends. Because my goal is to document the day without interfering, I like to make as little impact as possible, so having just myself as the team allows me to do this. There are times however, depending on the number of guests or locations, where a second shooter would be ideal and I’ll let you know my thoughts on our discovery call!
Can we see some full galleries?
Absolutely! Let me know a little about your plans and I’ll send you some full gallery links that match.
Are you the photographer that will be shooting my wedding?
Absolutely! When you book me, you’re booking ME.
What’s your style/approach to wedding photography?
I approach weddings and sessions with a documentary approach, which means storytelling via capturing what happens. Looking for relationships and fleeting moments. Straightforward representation of people, places, and events. I tell the story of what happened, without it being filtered through anyone’s idea of how things SHOULD be.
How long have you been a wedding photographer? How’d you get into it?
My business started around 2008 and I’ve photographed hundreds of weddings! I got into it via my first job out of college: running the photo department at Medieval Times. From there, my interest in photography just kept growing until I photographed my first wedding: two 70 year olds marrying with their children as witnesses, dressed in just their Sunday best, and having punch and cake back at their house afterwards. It taught me everything I needed to know – that weddings can look however you want them to.
What inspires you?
My biggest inspiration comes from staying curious and remembering to play. Even just on my morning walks, I find myself framing up mental photos of the people and scenes I see. On top of that, I adore the cinematography in movies such as The Favourite, Monkey Man, Dune, and Bad Times at the El Royale.
Where are you based?
I live about an hour north of Atlanta, GA! And I get to travel all over for weddings, engagement sessions, and branding.
Do you offer albums or prints?
I do! Your final gallery has a store attached for purchasing things like wall art and small prints, and we’ll discuss wedding albums on the discovery call.
Is there a travel fee?
Travel fees depend on the plans, and I can get you a custom quote after our discovery call.
I automatically include travel within a 4-hour drive of 30548 for weddings – covering spots like Asheville, Charlotte, Greenville, Chattanooga, and in between.
How much coverage do we need for our day?
The answer depends on a few things – like what your plans are for the day and for the full weekend. Are there other events happening over the wedding weekend like brunch or outings with loved ones or a welcome dinner?
8 hours for wedding-day only coverage tends to be a sweet spot for a lot of couples, which covers everything from a little getting ready to the exit at the end of the night.
I’ll make my recommendation on our discovery call and create a rough timeline for you so you can see what it potentially looks like!
Do you photograph small weddings or elopements?
Absolutely! Whatever your plans are, I want to hear about.
Do you offer payment plans?
By default, I split my wedding payments into thirds, but we can look at alternate options together.
