Wedding Photography That Keeps It Real

Wedding + Engagement Photographer in Greater Atlanta

If there’s ever a time to keep it real, it’s on your wedding day.

And real relationships? They feature two (or three) personalities that shine bright alone and even brighter together. They have beautiful lumps, bumps, wrinkles, freckles, and scars that deserve to be celebrated. They involve big emotions that lead to giggles, tears, snorts, and sniffles.

And yeah, real people can feel awkward in front of the camera. Except when I’m the one behind it.

“We are so so so grateful for your wonderful work, your comforting personality, and your ability to make us feel comfortable enough to show our true selves in our wedding photos. The day wouldn’t have been the same without you and your magical spirit!” — Kyrstyn

Meet the Photographer

I’m Raven (she/her), and my superpower is getting my clients to feel comfortable in front of the camera. I think it comes from my own awkwardness in front of the camera. That’s why, when I realized photography was my art form, I decided to specialize in making everyone feel natural in front of my lens. How do I do it? By getting to know you really, really well. By putting you at ease in your favorite place with your favorite person. And by cracking the occasional fart joke.

GET TO KNOW ME

My Process

  1. Discover
We’ll have a video call to get to know each other and discover if we vibe: geek out over your favorite movie, who your cat’s named after, and your love story. If it’s a fit, I’ll send out your custom proposal, then have you sign a contract and pay a retainer, and we’ll officially be booked!
  2. Plan
Next, you’ll complete an in-depth questionnaire (hello, fun date night activity) so I can understand each of you individually and as a couple. We’ll also discuss logistics for your big day. Expect me to check in a few more times throughout the planning process, with a final call around one month before the wedding or photoshoot.
  3. Photograph
Your day is finally here! Time to have some fun. My approach to wedding and engagement photography is always natural, relaxed, and fun — capturing who you are as a team, and as individuals. A little while after our session, you’ll catch some sneak peeks on social media, with your final gallery delivered a little while after that.

“My family and I wanted photos to include in our newsletter coming out as polyamorous and we could not have picked a better photographer! Raven captured us as we are and made it so easy and fun.”— Libba

“Working with Raven was so easy, a relief after all the stress building up to my wedding. I always knew she was on top of things, that I could direct her or ask things of her, and that she would be prompt in her response. She was comfortable to work with, had a positive attitude all day, and took some of the most amazing photos I could’ve dreamed of. She captured my and my husband’s vision perfectly. And leading up to the big day, she was always in touch and easy to reach. A dream come true of a photographer!” – Linden & Pablo

“You know, I was really nervous reaching out as a plus size person… Images with me in them have never been my favorite. But I cannot stop staring at our wedding photos. You captured us at our best, and all I can see in the photos is the love. No self doubt or awkwardness. I will never be able to thank you enough for that.” – Chelsea

Have a Question?

Are you available for my wedding?
I sure hope so! The best way to find out about my current availability is to contact me.

Do you work with LGBTQ+ couples?
Abso-fucking-lutely. That’s not even a question in my mind, just like it’s not a question if I’ll work with older clients, plus-size clients, BIPOC clients, disabled clients, or triads. I respect you and your love story in whatever form it takes.

Where do you travel to?
My wedding and elopement packages include travel within four hours of Atlanta. So if you’re planning to get married in Tennessee cities like Chattanooga, Knoxville, or Cleveland; North Carolina cities like Asheville or Murphy; South Carolina cities like Columbia, Greenville, or Clemson; Alabama cities like Birmingham or Montgomery; or Georgia cities like Blairsville, August, Macon, or Columbus, I’m here for you. I love traveling outside of the greater Atlanta area, too, but travel fees will be involved. Reach out for a custom quote!

Why do you include albums and prints with your packages?
Because having printed photos from your wedding or photoshoot are the easiest way to enjoy them, and that’s what they’re for — to be enjoyed! We took these photos so you could remember a special moment in your life with a special person by your side. By including albums and prints with my packages and making the process easy, I’m enabling that experience for you.

I have another question. Help!
No problem — I’ve probably answered your question on my FAQ page. But if not, just reach out. I’m happy to answer!

It’s Your Time To Shine

Yes, you. Even if you feel awkward in front of the camera. Even if you’re eloping. Even if this is your third marriage. Even if your relationship doesn’t look like what you see in bridal magazines. Your love story is beautiful — and it’s time to capture it.
