Trader Joe’s Engagement Session // Patrick & Ross
You may remember Patrick & Ross from their portrait session at the FRIENDS Experience when it came through Atlanta back in the summer, but there’s so much more awesome to come! Their engagement session featured two locations: their local Trader Joe’s {where they are regulars} and the home that they’re remodeling together! Both are places that have meant a lot to them over the course of their relationship, and so are the perfect settings for an engagement session.
Trader Joe’s Engagement Session Photos
I really lean into the nontraditional ideas that my couples and I come up with when getting to know each other and here’s a perfect example: why NOT go somewhere you’re always at anyway? Capture who you are! Capture where you are at this point in life! I want your photos to SCREAM “oh wow yeah this is really X and Y.”
Patrick & Ross have developed friendships with the awesome folks who work at this Trader Joe’s, so much so that they picked out flowers at their wedding from the store and had an extremely talented friend who works there provide some chalk artwork for this shoot! {Check out those references in the art and see if you can recognize them as you scroll through!}
After Trader Joe’s we headed over to their home, somewhere they’ve been changing, remodeling, and making their own: the perfect kind of location to feature for a shoot like this. {And, of course, I’ll jump at ANY opportunity to include any pets! How perfect is Charlotte’s face?!} We hit some of their favorite rooms in the house and finished off outside, which they’ve recently re-landscaped to make truly their own. I’m so glad we got to include so much meaning!
