I’ve had the pleasure of photographing multiple Dekalb Courthouse Weddings, and they’re always wonderful. This couple started their day getting ready down the street at a hotel within walking distance, which made transportation incredibly easy for their group! They then did their first look on the front steps of the courthouse, then walked around Decatur Square together exploring and playing. The Square is a place they love being with each other, so it was very meaningful to have that time. The ceremony took place in the Old Superior Courtroom with its beautiful marble and high ceilings, then everyone headed outside for a performance from the bride & groom themselves! They’re a part of the Seed & Feed Marching Abominable, Atlanta’s premier marching band. The group took over the gazebo and lawn in the back of the courthouse and threw a hell of a party! They then started their reception with dancing and a Waffle House truck.
