The Oakland Bell Tower
Constructed in 1899 and fully restored in 2022, the Oakland Bell Tower seamlessly blends historic charm with modern amenities. This beautiful Romanesque building, located at the heart of Oakland Cemetery, features two floors of indoor event space along with four spacious covered porches that offer stunning views of the cemetery and the Atlanta skyline. Ideal for meetings, off-site retreats, and celebrations of all types, this venue can accommodate up to 100 guests. The building is fully ADA compliant, including elevator access to the second floor. It is available for events every day of the week.
North Public Grounds
Situated within the original six acres of Oakland Cemetery, the North Public Grounds is a large outdoor venue that can host up to 150 guests. The lush tree canopy not only provides shade but also adds natural beauty to this idyllic setting, making it perfect for large ceremonies or outdoor gatherings.
Oakland Cemetery Wedding Cost
During the peak wedding season in April, May, June, October, and November, the rental cost for an 8-hour rental period with 2 hours for setup and 1 hour for breakdown (a total of 11 hours) ranges from $3,500 to $5,500. A half-day rental (4 hours) on Friday is available for $2,250.
In the non-peak season, covering March, July, August, and September, the pricing for the same 8-hour rental period is $3,000 from Monday to Thursday, $5,000 on Saturday, and $4,000 on Friday and Sunday. The half-day rental on Friday costs $2,000.
During the winter season, which includes December, January, and February, the 8-hour rental period is available for $2,500 on Monday through Thursday, $4,500 on Saturday, and $3,500 on Friday and Sunday. The half-day rental on Friday is priced at $1,750.
For outdoor events without a rain plan, restrooms, or electricity, the rental costs during peak season range from $350 to $550. In the non-peak season, the cost ranges from $300 to $400. During the winter season, the rental fees range from $250 to $450.
Additional options to enhance your event include outside vendor fees, additional staff, private guided tours, and custom scavenger hunts, with various costs associated.
