Tara & Cabot are some of the most fun and adorable weirdos: exactly my people. They’re warm and kind and hilarious, also, and hanging out with the two of them means Cabot constantly making Tara laugh. Their wedding was no exception, and it was a delight.⁠ They planned a romantic fall day in Atlanta filled with personal touches – and some of my favorite venues. I can’t wait for you to see these incredible fall vibes!

Getting Ready⁠

Tara & Cabot two had their first look on the porch of the AirBnb that Tara used to get ready. Cabot spent time with their pup, Mango while Tara prepared with her ladies. Tara and her bridesmaids looked amazing! Her ladies were gorgeous velvet fall jeweled-toned dresses. After Tara was ready for their first look, Cabot came to meet her. They had a quiet moment together and pinned their special little moth brooches on each other, which I really loved.⁠ It was so sweet.

We did their portraits & wedding party photos at Fernbank, both indoors and out. I absolutely LOVE the Fernbank Museum. It’s a gorgeous history and science museum here in Atlanta and they’re always so receptive to portraits in their location. I’m so happy that Tara & Cabot opted for another location for their portraits. It’s nice to mix things up!

 After their portraits at the Fernbank, we headed to Wahoo! Grill for Tara and Cabot’s wedding ceremony and reception. This was the second time I’ve been back to Wahoo! and it was so nice to be back. It’s such a lovely spot with fantastic greenery and a lot of personality.⁠ It was absolutely stunning for this fall wedding day – and I enjoyed getting to see Wahoo! Grill in another season. It reminded me how nice it is to put your own stamp on your celebration, even at popular venues!

Tara & Cabot had donuts for their cake cutting and some really fantastic speeches from loved ones. I LOVED their light Halloween-vibe throughout their decorations {including a dog skeleton stand-in for their dog Mango who stayed home during the wedding}. They had the tiniest pumpkins throughout their tables, bringing together the black and orange colors of Halloween into their celebration. Everything felt so like them throughout the whole day and I was just ecstatic – I want that feeling for all of my couples. Your wedding day should truly be about you!
