Mandi & Sean are really such a delightful couple. I loved being a part of their wedding day and rehearsal dinner at Yarborough Mill. The entire day was designed around a feeling of a weekend-long campout with their community. This was my first time at Yarborough Mill and I can’t wait to go back. It was absolutely stunning. Mandi & Sean chose this unique venue for its fairy-tale look with a backyard vibe, perfect for their gorgeous and laidback day.

Rehearsal Dinner

After Mandi was done prepping with her family and had a first look with her dad, she met Sean for their first look. It was honestly probably one of my favorite first looks ever. He’s got a big personality and he was so sweet taking her in as he turned to see her. It was special to behold that moment between the two of them. Everyone reacts differently to their first look and this one was just SO charming.

Since I came to their rehearsal dinner, most of their portraits were already done before the wedding day. We focused on a few unique spots around Yarborough Mill, but Mandi & Sean just wanted to party and enjoy their guests {which I’m here for!}. The portraits with their wedding party were full of lots of laid back shenanigans and I just had a blast capturing them all.

What were you most anxious or nervous about regarding your wedding day and how did it turn out?

The rain, but it cleared up just in time!

Wedding Ceremony 

The ceremony by the stream included a handfasting and other pagan elements, which was rare and beautiful. You could just see the joy on their faces when the ceremony was complete and they were announced as married.

After portraits, Mandi & Sean headed into their reception. It was a gorgeous rustic affair inside the mill. After some dancing and the big moments, they both changed into a second outfit so of course, we had to sneak in a few last portraits. Their people were a party from the word go and it was just so much fun. I had a fantastic time with these two!
